Luke's claims are super odd without context and still slightly dubious with it. But the fact is, he's a terrible liar and terrible at manipulations so he just blunders on with honesty and sometimes just omitting things.

There's no expectation of being invited in. Luke folds his hands in front of him and goes into a quiet stillness while he waits, focusing on not feeling the people around him. There's so much frustration and indignation (rightly so) but he doesn't want to drown himself in it.

He opens his eyes when the door opens and tilts his head. "Shall we?"
