Ben snorts, nodding at that. "I mean there's some truth in it. Vague truth. A lot of it though is skewed. Like they don't talk about the drugs they hit us with, and they don't get into the crazy shit that happens all the time."

Crazy shit that is really starting to make him gunshy and why he's armed and ready for anything more often than not. His jacket carries a lot of small things he can use if things go south.
